How does this calculator work?
Each platform's published 2026 rate (percentage + fixed fee, minimums applied, VAT grossed up where the rate excludes it) is computed at your ticket price and volume. Quote-only platforms are listed but not computed — their rates are negotiated.
Does it include card processing?
No — card processing (Stripe ~1.5% + 20p UK domestic) applies similarly on nearly every platform, so it cancels out of the comparison. Where a platform bundles processing into its headline rate (Eventbrite UK), the bundled figure is used.
What's the difference between pass-on and absorb mode?
Pass-on shows what your fan pays (face value + fee); absorb shows what you receive (face value − fee). Same fee, different bearer — toggle to match how you plan to price.
How fresh are the rates?
Data reviewed 2026-07-26; each platform's fee file carries its individual verification date and source link. If a platform has changed pricing since, tell us via the about page.
