About Ticketing Fees UK
A research site with one job: put every UK ticketing platform's real cost on the record — sourced, dated, and computed at prices that mean something.
When someone buys a £25 ticket and pays £28 at checkout, the £3 has at least three different names and no obvious owner. We think organisers deserve the arithmetic: what each platform charges, who the charge lands on, and how verifiable the number is.
Who builds this
Ticketing Fees UK is built and maintained by Tickts Ltd, the UK zero-fee ticketing platform. Yes — we have skin in the game: we believe the zero-fee model is better for organisers and fans, and we built a platform on that belief.
That's exactly why the methodology below exists. Every competitor figure is tiered by verifiability, dated, and linked to its source. If we've mis-stated a rate, the source link will catch us — tell us and we'll fix it and say so.
The methodology
Every rate on this site carries one of three statuses:
- Verified at source — read from the platform's own pricing or help pages, with the fetch date shown.
- As published — the platform's own pages are unreachable or silent; we use consistently-cited industry figures and say so plainly.
- Quote-only — no standard pricing exists; we refuse to invent a number and mark the platform non-comparable.
Computed figures apply the full formula — percentage, fixed fee, minimums — and gross up VAT-exclusive rates at 20%, because a '60p + VAT' rate is a 72p rate. Card processing (Stripe ~1.5% + 20p domestic) is excluded throughout: it applies on virtually every platform and would move every bar equally.
The full dataset, sources and this quarter's corrections live in the 2026 UK Fees Audit. Data last reviewed 2026-07-26.
What we don't do
- No pay-to-rank. Platforms can't buy positions in our tables — the sort order is arithmetic.
- No invented rates for quote-only platforms — 'typically 10–15%' is labelled as exactly that.
- No silent updates. Corrections are noted on the audit page when we change a figure.
Spotted an error?
Fees change, and platforms occasionally publish new rates quietly. If a figure here disagrees with a platform's own page, we want to know: [email protected] with a link or screenshot. Corrections ship fast.

Tickts charges fans nothing on top of face value. Organisers keep 100% of the ticket price, paid straight to their own Stripe account.
