About Ticketing Fees UK
An independent resource helping event organisers compare booking fees across every major UK ticketing platform.
Our Mission
We believe fans shouldn't pay hidden booking fees. When someone buys a £25 ticket and gets charged £28 at checkout, that erodes trust between organisers and their audience. We want to change that.
Ticketing Fees UK exists to compare fees across all major UK ticketing platforms so organisers can make informed decisions about where to sell their tickets. We break down the real cost of every platform — the percentages, the fixed fees, and the final amount your fans actually pay.
All data is researched and updated regularly from public pricing pages to ensure accuracy.
Who Built This?
Ticketing Fees UK is built and maintained by Tickts Ltd, the UK's zero-fee ticketing platform. Tickts charges £0 booking fees to fans and £0 commission to organisers.
A Note on Transparency
Yes, we have skin in the game — we built a ticketing platform that charges zero fees, and we believe that model is better for organisers and fans alike. But we present fair, accurate data for every platform listed on this site.
Every fee listed is sourced from public platform pricing pages. We don't cherry-pick numbers or misrepresent competitors. If a platform changes their pricing, we update our data accordingly.

How We Calculate Fees
Most ticketing platforms use a percentage + fixed fee model. For example, if a platform charges 6.95% + 59p on a £25 ticket, the booking fee is:
£25 × 6.95% + £0.59 = £2.33 booking fee
Variable Rates
Some platforms have variable or negotiable rates that depend on ticket volume, event type, or individual agreements. Where rates aren't publicly fixed, we use the typical or publicly advertised rate. We always note where estimates are used.
Absorbed Fee Models
Platforms like DICE absorb their fees into the ticket face value rather than showing a separate booking fee. We estimate the effective percentage and include it in our comparisons for fairness, clearly labelling it as an absorbed fee.
What We Don't Include
Stripe payment processing fees (typically 1.5% + 20p) apply to virtually all ticketing platforms and are not included in our comparisons — they're universal and would affect every platform equally. Our comparisons focus specifically on the booking fees and commissions that differentiate one platform from another.
